Parallel sessions

A lap-top and a beamer will be available in each room for presentations.

Our default assumption is that you will use these for your PowerPoint or LateX presentation, which you can bring along on a USB memory device. To avoid loss of time, hooking up of personal lap-tops is discouraged.

Presenters are invited to the room 10 minutes prior to the start of the session, so that presentations can be copied onto the lap-top before the session starts. Please avoid the use of file names including eaere and 2011 , as this may overlap with your colleagues' presentations.

Average time available for each presentation, including discussants' and general discussion, is around 26 minutes.

Chairs are invited to come to the room 10 minutes prior to the start of the session. They introduce the session and the speakers, make sure that the time available is divided equally over the papers to be presented, and guide the discussion with the floor following the presentation. Although exceptions may occur, the chair is usually the same person as the presenter of the final paper in the session. The conference program identifies the chairs for individual sessions. In case the scheduled chair does not show up, the actual presenter of the session's final paper is expected to take over the role of chair.

Discussants are expected to provide a brief discussion, focusing on more general issues and questions, leaving sufficient time for discussion with the floor. Any detailed comments can be passed on to the presenter after the session, possibly in written form. Although exceptions may occur, the discussant is usually the same person as the presenter of the next paper in the session; the presenter of the final paper is usually discussant of the first paper.

Poster sessions

Panels size for poster is 100x250 cm.

Minimum size for poster: 50x70 cm

Posters have to be mounted the 29th of June or the 30th of June before 9:00 am at the latest.

The poster will be displayed throughout the whole duration of the conference, therefore they will be dismantled on the 2nd of July after the end of the scientific sessions. Three posters sessions will be held:

- 30th of June - Afternoon

The Authors of the posters are expected to stay nearby their poster during the three sessions in order to answer the questions the conference participants might have.
